2/10/11 Auditioning drummers
Due to creative differences we have parted ways with Steve. We wish him all the best, it was fun working together, we had some good times and played some fun shows.
As for the rest of the band - we are continuing writing for the new album as it remains our main focus, interested drummers or bassists - please drop us an email.

Nate's job commitments have taken him outside of Houston and have made it impossible for him to continue with the band.

Thanks to all that came to the Crazy Frogs shows - we had a blast.
We'll probably take it easy for the next month and work on some new tunes and record. We'll be picking it up again in August as we're currently working on securing shows.

2/1/10 Descent Into Madness - 10 years!

Descent Into Madness, is 10 yrs old. Thanks to all that have believed in the music, especially to my dear co-conspirators, Claudio and Jennifer. Big kudos to Steve for filling the drum spot - "There's many who tried to prove that they're faster, But they didn't last and they died as they tried". :) ...Same goes to Nate - took us a while, but it was worth it. Cheers to another 10+ years!
A friend said that was a day in Rolling Stones years!

Thanks to all that came to see us at 19th Hole. Another show tonight at BFE - looking forward to it.
FYI - we've cancelled Gary's (Feb. 6th) as the show's terms were unacceptable. We're working on more shows at other clubs around Houston, so check with us as we add the dates.

We just booked Gary's Spot (Tomball) for another gig on February 6 and we have some more things in the works TBA.

12/8/09 Java Junction canceled, we go on with Gary's Spot on 22nd

It was brought to our attention that Java Junction's PA and electrical system wouldn't be able to handle our gear, so as this was mnisrepresentation on behalf of the promoter we had to cancel. Hopefully once they get things up to par we can do a show at that venue.
Our show on the 22nd at Gary's spot is still on, so we're looking forward to seeing you there! Others shows are in the works for January and February, stay tuned!

11/19/09 Working on some new shows, band pictures
Not all details have been finalized but we got "Botomless Beer Tuesdays" show coming up on December 22nd at Gary's Spot (Tomball). What it is - you show up botomless, you get free beer all night! :) Ok, just kidding!!!
This is what we call the Beer Monger/Beer Fiend show - great tap beer all night at very low prices and you get to see us as well!
On another news - we got some new pictures in "Lineup" and "Photos" sections.

The ones that came to our last show already know this, but it is official - we have a bassist. Welcome Nate to the band!

5/19/2009 Matthew Harris out, bass player search continues
Due to irregular rehearsal attendance, failure to communicate and overall lack of motivation we've decided to fire Matthew Harris. The bass player spot is open again, so interested parties - feel free to contact us either via our website or myspace so we can set up an audition.

2/12/2009 Metal Metldown Fest Cancelled!
The gig at FBI #2 has been cancelled as the club has encountered some financial difficulties. We were really looking forward to playing live but these things are out of our control. Hope to see you soon as we are doing our best book as soon as possible.
2/5/2009 First show with new drummer!!!!
Okay, we waited on a bassist to play live but this is really hard to pass by so we're taking the stage after a 2 year hiatus. Well, we've been busy but mainly dealing with studio work and auditioning. Finally - we got a mean double bass drummer, the band sounds tight without a bassist so why the hell wait????? Metallica did it on "... and Justice for All" so why even bother?....adjusting guitar bass eq on 11... :)
So here we are - Descent Into Madness going on around 9pm!!! This will be a killer show with lots of talented local bands going in early and after us: our friends from Murder Plot, Mercenary X, What Lies Beneath, EPIC (maybe we'll do another Seek & Destroy together"?), so if you're into metal, you better be there!
